National Geospatial Policy & Strategy NGAC Survey Results July 2009
Summary of Actions • FGDC staff compiled and summarized notes from the May NGAC sessions on potential scope and content of the policy as well as potential roles of NGAC in supporting development of National Geospatial Policy and Strategy. • NGAC members first reviewed the summary of the national policy discussion. Twelve (12) members offered comments and modifications. • NGAC members then prioritized and ranked components and actions through SurveyMonkey. Twenty-four (24) members responded. • DFO and FGDC Executive Committee reviewed NGAC feedback in shaping the guidance to NGAC on roles and expectations for support in development of National Geospatial Policy/Strategy. • Survey results were distributed to NGAC members in July 2009. • The following slides summarize the results.
