  2. Geography • Puerto Rico is an island located between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean • Puerto Rico has a tropical marine, mild climate and the weather rarely changes • The terrain is mostly mountains and sandy beaches along most costal areas

  3. Government • Puerto Rico is a Commonwealth government • The capital San Juan • It is a territory of the US and controlled by the Office of the President • Puerto Rico has no independence because there are under the US • The Legal system is based on Spanish civil code and within the US Federal system of justice

  4. Currency • Puerto Rico uses the regular US dollar to exchange or buy different things

  5. Natural Resources • The natural resources of Puerto Rico are copper and nickel • They usually come from onshore and offshore oils

  6. School • In early school years Christian doctrine, arts, and grammar was the only education you could have
