Funding Pre-16 Funding Similar to last year: • The last 2 years has seen loss of funding at KS4 (Curriculum Pathways), including: Practical Learning monies, KS4 engagement, 14 – 19 Flexible Funding, Work Relates Learning and Young Apprenticeships • 2011 - 12 last year of Diploma Funding and Local Delivery Support Grant • Core DSG funding is protected – “flat cash” (against major cutbacks in other areas of service) • Minimum Funding Guarantee remains at -1.5%
Funding Cont. • New money in addition is Pupil Premium 2012 – 2013 = £600 for Free School Meals, £600 for LACs, £250 for Military schools. • For more details regarding Core funding and Pupil Premium • Contact KCC Finance Schools Budget Team • Finance meetings are arranged for the 2nd week in March where the real technical issues will be discussed
