Innovative Training Networks - ITN • What is ITN? • Structured doctoral training for early-stage researchers based on cross-border and cross-sector partnerships (consortia) Creativity Excellence Entrepreneurship Innovation A new generation of researchers Skilled Employable Mobile Education and Culture

ITN - Details • Budget: • € 405.18 Million in 2014 (EID: 25.5 Mio, EJD: 30 Mio) • € 370 Million in 2015 (EID: 25 Mio, EJD 28 Mio) European Joint Doctorates European Training Networks European Industrial Doctorates EJD ETN EID • Main features: • Exposure to the non-academic sector as elementary part of the training • Project of up to 4 years durationand fellowships of 3-36 months • Maximum 540 researcher-months per consortium (or 180 for EID with 2 partners) • Vacancies for PhD candidates published on the EURAXESS Portal Education and Culture

Research and Innovation Staff Exchange - RISE • What is RISE? • International and inter-sector collaboration programme based on transfer of knowledge through exchange of staff • Objectives: • Developing a shared culture of research and innovation • Consortia of at least three different countries, min. 2 from EU MS/AC • Exchangesfrom 1-12 months for administrative, managerial and technical staff • Third country nationals and organisations are fully eligible Basis: A joint research and innovation project Education and Culture
