  2. What are Current Transformers? A current transformer producing alternating current (AC) is secondary and proportional to AC in its primary phases. In the condition, of high current flow and to measure high voltage these current transformers have been utilized. Current transformers are widely used in electronic meters and relays and also used in electrical appliances and equipment. Silicon ring core with copper wire has been used in the current transformer manufacturers. With this copper wiring current flow easily as copper is a good conductor of electricity.
