Provide new print and electronic resources to the students and staff at Victor Primary to support instruction and learning and to enhance the study of birds and migration in first and third grades. Purpose: • Benefit to the School Community: • larger variety of resources, including hard bound, paperback, big books, e-books, DVDs and videos • enhances curriculum • supports state learning standards • assists in inquiry learning • more resources available for student use • replaces worn/dated materials
Current Status of the Collection TOTAL = 600 = 61% of student body Both 1st and 3rd grade students study birds as part of their Science unit. The books get used very frequently and new books would be an asset to the collection and to the students learning.
