Adaptations This rabbit’s large ears help it to lose heat allowing it to stay cool. They have large eyes on the side of their head, which is kind of flat so they can see almost 360 degrees, a full circle, helping to spot predators.
Interesting Information • The black tailed jackrabbit’s most identifying feature is its huge ears. Its ears and tail are tipped with black fur. It has large hind feet that can be 5 inches in length.
