  3. Causes • More people in Ireland • More younger people • Fewer people in each household

  4. Soon though the prices got too high • People couldn’t afford them • Mortgage loans got to high • This lead to the crash

  5. Economy • People could not afford houses or loans • Bankruptcy • House prices fell

  6. Today • Ireland is having a hard time reviving the economy from the housing market crash
