Consultation Vehicle 2011-12 • Vehicle was booked out for 22 days in the last financial year raising income of £6,389. • Costs totalled £5,606, the biggest cost being nearly £4,000 on drivers. • This year we are getting plenty of interest in the vehicle – it was even in a prime spot for Fright Night!
Highways Budget • £10,000 per ward • Firth Park have allocated approximately £4,000 so far, including installing bollards at Bellhouse Rd to prevent delivery vehicles parking on the footway • Shiregreen and Brightside have allocated just over £1,000, including the installation of a rail outside the pedestrian entrance to Wincobank School.
Highways Budget • Burngreave have allocated approximately £4,350 including extra signage at the Yorkshire Muslim Academy following a petition presented at the Community Assembly meeting earlier this year. • Southey are still to make decisions. • Highways budget can be carried forward at the end of the year and members are intending to combine their budgets with Streets Ahead works to maximise impact and value.
