What next? • Military Training/Clinical Training • Instructor Courses. • Continued Professional Development (CPD).
Military Training • Two hours weekly training and 2 hours PT weekly • Weekend of low level MATTs training three times a year. • Annual Camp, covering Ranges, CBRN and Adventure Training (Inverness). • Clinical Training - Clinical Training Suite at local University
Commitment • 27 Days per year. • 15 Day Annual Camp or Course • 12 days made up of training weekends and training evenings. • Mandatory Annual Training Tests (Weapon Training, CBRN, Navigation, First Aid, Values & Standards, CIED, Fitness Tests).
Pay & Bounty • You are paid for every period of training that you attend worked out by: • Daily Rate of Pay (determined by rank/qualifications and experience: • 1 day (8 hrs+) • ½ day (4 hrs – 7 hrs 59 mins) • ¼ day (2 hrs – 3 hrs 59 mins) • Bounty is an annual tax free payment paid on successful completion of mandatory annual training: • 1st Yr = £ 428 • 2nd Yr = £ 943 • 3rd & 4th Yr = £ 1457 • 5th Yr = £ 1691
Operations/Deployment • Mobilisation is currently voluntary. • Employment protection under Reserve Forces Act 1996. • No financial loss to individuals. • Obligation to inform employer. • Future likely to include humanitarian/UN type operations.
