GIOACCHINO ROSSINI • Gioacchino Rossini was born on the 29th February 1792. The most important operas he wrote were ‘’Barbiere di Siviglia’’, ‘’Guglielmo Tell’’ and ‘’La gazza ladra’’.
GIUSEPPE VERDI • Giuseppe Verdi was born on the 10th October 1813. The most important operas he wrote when he was young were ‘’Nabucco’’ and ‘’Macbeth’’. When he was older, the most important operas he wrote were ‘’Requiem’’, ‘’Rigoletto’’, ‘’Trovatore’’ and ‘’Traviata’’.
The greatest interpreters of the Italian Opera are Enrico Caruso and Luciano Pavarotti.

LUCIANO PAVAROTTI • Luciano Pavarotti was born in Modena on the 12th October 1935. The most famous aria he interrpreted was ‘’Nessun dorma’’ by Puccini.
