Inquirer • inquirer: a person who is an inquirer is curious about the world and researches to find answers to inquiry questions An inquirer loves to learn and discover new things and is a life-long learner.
Communicator • communicator : a person who is a communicator is able to share his/her ideas in a lot of different ways A communicator uses words, numbers, drawings and symbols to explain math problems.
Caring • caring: a person who is caring thinks about other people, what they think and what they feel A caring person tries to help others whenever she can.
Knowledgeable • knowledgeable: a knowledgeable person remembers what he/she has learned and uses that knowledge in many different ways She showed that she was knowledgeable about geography by labeling all the states on a map of the United States.
Open-minded • open-minded: an open-minded person listens to the ideas and points of view of other people and knows that it is okay that people believe in different things and think in different ways An open-minded person knows that even though people are all different in some ways they are all alike and it is important to listen to everyone’s ideas.
Principled • principled: a person who is principled does the right thing even when no one is looking A principled person has a strong sense of fairness and always does the right thing.
Reflective • reflective: a person who is reflective knows what he/she is good at and thinks about these things to make changes in the way he/she acts or works Every day the reflective student reflected on how well he worked in school by writing in a reflection journal.
Risk Taker • risk taker: a person who is a risk taker has the courage to try new things and solve problems in new ways To be a risk taker, you must be brave enough to tell others what you think is the right thing to do.
Thinker • thinker: a person who is a thinker solves problems and makes good decisions when working alone or with a group Thinkers solve problems in new ways and don’t get discouraged easily.
Balanced • balanced: a person who is balanced realize that it is important to have a balance between work and play in life-balanced people eat well and exercise, they know when it is appropriate to talk and when it is appropriate to listen His life was balanced because he completed all of his school work and still had time to play soccer on a team.
