Businesses and self employed individuals must calculate approximately how much tax will be payable and make sure that they have provided for the appropriate amount. It is important that the tax bill can be paid when it falls due. • Remember that: • PAYG withholding amounts may be required to be sent to the Tax Office monthly or quarterly • GST Payments may be required monthly or quarterly • Income tax payments may be require quarterly.
