Part 73 Special Use Airspace Subpart B Restricted Areas
73.13 Restrictions • May not operate within designated altitudes and time of designation unless advance permission of • Using agency • Controlling agency 73.15 Using Agency • Agency, organization, or military command whose activity has area designated • Schedule activities within area • Authorize transit, through, or flight within, the restricted area as feasible • Contain all activity within area for purpose of designation
73.17 Controlling Agency • FAA facility that may authorize transit through or flight within a restricted area in accordance with a joint-use letter
73.19 Reports by Using Agency • To FAA regional office by Jan 31 of each year • Name and number of restricted area • Activities conducted and info concerning current and future electronic monitoring devices • Number of hours, days of week, and number of weeks area will be used • If joint-use designation, state number of hours, days of week, and number of weeks area released to controlling agency for public use • Mean sea level altitudes or flight levels used • Chart of area depicting • Aircraft operations and Flight patterns • Ordnance delivery areas and surface firing points
