The Branch and ECVET • Euro Mobility Important added value for beneficiaries : competence, behaviour, autonomy, etc. • Frustration : no recognition of L.O. obtained abroad ECVET as an opportunity • Motor Trade and Repair Branch: common problematic all over Europe, etc. • Identical answers should be provided ECVET as a solution
ECVET Testing To confirm the potential added value identified : > decision to experiment ECVET • Bottom-up approach > to “ecvetize” a current mobility programme (European Class in Trucks Maintenance project) • Top-down Approach > from a branch qualification to apply the ECVET technical specifications
Top down approach experimentation ECVET ASSET Objective: to test ECVET from 01/2009 to 31/12/2011(framework > 10 EU experimentations) • 4 Countries (Finland, Hungary, Romania, France) • 11 partners: training centres, competent institutions, economic world representatives)
Top down approach experimentation ECVET ASSET • Main steps: • Choice and definition of a « Job Profile » • Identification of the qualifications • Common activities fields • Choice of the fields most favourabled to common units • Writing of common units • Building of parnerships agreement (MoU) • Preparation of the mobility test • ECVET Mobility Test • Results analysis
