PGSA-UIUC Biography • Led the response to Swat IDPs crisis (due to violent struggle against terrorists) • Raised $35,000 in partnership with Islamic Relief USA • Targeted the root problem of wide-spread illiteracy in Pakistan • Raised $33,000 in partnership with Zindagi Trust • Organized ‘Cricket for Haiti’ fundraising event to support 2010 Haiti earthquake victims • Co-organized the 26th Annual Conference of APSENA in 2009 themed “Water: Lifeline for Energy and Health” • Association of Pakistani Scientists & Engrs of North America • Many cultural events in collaboration with YMCA, AACC, Cosmopolitan Club, AIESEC Recipient of the 2010 Champaign-Urbana International Humanitarian Award
