For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing.

  20. Renewing the Mind • Renewal – to revitalize or refresh. To make new again! • “The adjustment of the moral and spiritual vision and thinking to the mind of God, which is designed to have a transforming effect upon the life.” (Vines Expository Dictionary)

Renewing the Mind • Romans 12:1-2, “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” Romans 12:1-2 (NKJV) 1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
