  2. UQ Communications Next Generation Mobile Broadband • For its retail service, UQ offers 40 Mbps DL/10 Mbps UL. Its early packaging is simple, with two “plans” for customers to choose from: • UQ Flat: The UQ Flat pricing plan allows customers access to unlimited high speed data access at a flat monthly rate of JPY4,480 (approximately USD45 per month). There is no longer term contract associated with this plan. • UQ 1Day: The UQ 1Day pass allows a user unlimited access to UQ’s Mobile WiMAX networks for JPY600 per 24-hour period.
