MODERN COACH FACTORY Manufacture of Metro coaches by MCF • Para no.- 8 of CRB’s inspection note of RDSO on 02nd Jun’ 2018 (letter no.2018/CRB/TP/48 dated 06.06.2018 ). • RDSO should formulate a strategy for IR coach manufacturing units trying to enter in to Metro business. • Strategy paper Report no. UTHS-03 (July,2018 ) submitted vide DG/RDSO letter no. UTHS/117 dated 16.07.2018 recommends manufacture of Metros by PUs. MCF

MODERN COACH FACTORY Manufacture of Metro coaches by MCF • Manufacture of MEMUs- 240 nos • 240 coaches (15 rakes) planned in 2019-20. • Target for 1st Rake Nov, 2019. • Manufacture of Kolkata Metro (BG Metro)- • Order for 4 Rakes (4 x 6 = 24 coaches ). • Layouts sent to Kolkata Metro for approval • Planned in 2019-20. • Manufacture of Kolkata Metro (SG Metro)- • Order for 3 Rakes (3 x 6 = 18 coaches ). • Layouts sent to Kolkata Metro for approval • Planned in 2019-20. • TOT for Aluminium body coaches- • Metro on Aluminum shell as well MCF
