  2. What do we do? Health In 2010 we increased 23,330 children’s access to health. Education In 2010 we increased 40,694 children’s access to education. Child Rights & Protection In 2010 we increased 6,267 children’s access to child right’s and protection. To date we have reached over 300,000 beneficiaries! www.childreach.org.uk

  4. My challenge event: Atlas Ascent! Mount Toubkal Location: Morocco, North Africa Height: 4167 m (13,671 ft) Challenge: Trek through the Atlas mountain range and summit Mount Toubkal! Why: The money raised will go towards funding Childreach International’s projects around the world Fundraising target: £1200 A very snowy mountain for such a hot country! Did you know? In the winter months, it’s possible to ski on the mountain!

  5. Morocco Fast Facts: Population: 32 million Capital: Rabat Currency: Moroccan Dirham (1 Dirham=0.07 British Pounds) Language: Arabic (official), Berber dialects, and French! Climate: Hot summers and cold winters (especially in the mountains!). With the Sahara Desert and the Atlas Mountains, there’s plenty of crazy weather! Flag Morocco has both a ruling King (Mohammed VI) and Prime Minister who form the parliamentary constitutional monarchy!
