INDEFINITE ARTICLES • Ae Ansão usados no feminino/masculino, mas SOMENTE no singular. • A: usado antes de palavras começadas por consoantes: a kiss, a noise. • E antes de palavras cuja primeira letra soa como consoante: a university, a holiday. • An: usado antes de palavras começadas por vogais: anarm, anoyster. • E antes de palavras cuja primeira letra soa como vogal: an honor, anheir

DEFINITE ARTICLES • The: usado no singular/plural; feminino/masculino e antes de: • Substantivos ou adjetivos que representam uma classe: The miserablesufferwithhunger. • Oceanos, rios, montanhas, arquipélagos, desertos: The Hudson riverispretty. • Hotéis, cinemas, teatros, museus e galerias de arte (há exceções): The British Museumisnearmyhouse. • Nomes de família e dos habitantes de um país: The Frenchare themostfashionpeople in the world.
