Goals we will accomplish by having these in the classroom for special need students Better Understanding of Information. Hands on learning will take place. Will allow for information to be repeated if needed.
Computers • Computer technology has used to improve many areas of our lives, such as education and medicine. • Needful for every student. • Bring about a new outlook on learning. • Teaches a skill
Awesome Software • Essential for computers. • Teaches with hands-on learning. • Programs can be used with more than one computer. • Can process information faster than the human mind. • Can handle complicated task.
Overhead Projector • Great for projection of information on screen for easy viewing. • Wonderful for conferences and classroom setting. • Inexpensive.
Video Technology • Allows student to see others and their expressions on their face. • Great for bringing learning into the classroom. • Can bring classroom together for learning.
Interactive Video Games Learning can be fun. Allows for students to recall information and apply the information in a fun way. Children retain more information from this type of learning.
Why are those needful in the classroom? • Most use visual learning, which most special needs students need for stimulation. • Can be beneficial for both child with and without special needs. • Will open up a new world of learning for students.
Training and Instruction for teachers. • Most are user friendly. • Online training classes are available. • Computer training can be hands on learning. • In-house training can be done, which will save money.
Projected Expense(Average Cost per Needed Technology) • Computers: Average $2000.00 each • Software: Average program cost between $50.00-$200.00. Some programs could be higher depending on function. • Overhead Projector: $300.00 • Video Technology: $500.00-$1000.00 • Interactive Games: Average $100.00
The Plan!!!! • Computer will be used for learning and skill development. • Software essential for learning with computer programming. • Overhead project information to stimulate learning by using sight and colors. • Video will be bring together people, places and things. • Interactive Games will be fun and promote learning.
