  2. Calculate Density • We are going to select the data you need to use. • From the data table, copy and paste the lines that you need into a new spread sheet. • PAY ATTENTION TO THE DATES!! • MAKE SURE TO COPY THE ENTIRE LINE!! • COPY THE CATEGORIES TOO!!

  3. Add title for Column ‘E’ • What are the units? • We’re going to enter the equation for Density

  4. Use the format: =C2/D2 • Press ‘enter’ • The box should now show a number value • Raise your hand if this hasn’t worked

  5. Click on lower right side of the box you just entered the equation in. • Drag down while holding down the mouse button.

  6. What do we do with our chart? • Now we know the density of the pennies that we’re using in the project. • You are going to use these tables in your reports. • You will copy and paste them into your written papers.

  7. Copy from Excel, paste into Word
