  4. Y depends on X • The cost of squirrels depends on the number of squirrels I want. • Yes this is a function because x’s don’t repeat.

  5. Domain and Range • Definitions- • Domain: all the x values • Range: all the y values

  6. Equation • D: (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) • R: (2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20) • It is a discrete graph because it’s a graph of unconnected points.

  7. Function Notation • Equation- y=2(x)+5 • Function Notation- f(x)= 2(x)+5
