  1. Different Types Of Emotions

  2. Happiness Happiness is regarded as one of the most basic types of emotions in humans. Happiness is usually described as a pleasant state characterized by feelings of laughter, joy, satisfaction, and contentment.

  3. Sadness Sadness is another primary human emotion and is defined as a transient emotional phase accompanied by feelings of grief, disappointment, dampened mood, etc. In some cases, people can undergo long and intense periods of sadness that may result in depression and other mental health illnesses

  4. Fear Fear is a strong emotion that can play a crucial role in survival. When you’re feeling scared, your muscle becomes tense, your heartbeat increases, and your mind becomes more alert indicating your body to either run or stands and fights the danger.

  5. Disgust Disgust is just another of the main six emotions that humans show. Disgust is defined as the feeling of revulsion or strong disapproval aroused by something unpleasant or offensive.

  6. Anger Anger is a powerful emotion usually characterized by feelings of power, frustration, agitation, hostility, resentment, and antagonism towards others.

  7. Surprise Surprise is an emotion that Paul Eckman initially described. Surprise is an emotion caused by some unexpected or astonishing event or fact and is characterized by a physiological startle response.
