  5. Classroom climate, can be defined as the mood or atmosphere that created by a teacher in his or her classroom, the rules set out, the way the teacher interacts with students, and the way the physical environment is set out.

  6. PLEASANT AND PRODUCTIVE CLIMATE • Classroom Relationships -relationship between teacher and pupil -using by the teacher of pupil names -enthusiasm* shown by teacher *willing of doing something, being happy from that

  7. 2. The Physical Environment -attractive and pleasant displays -clean and tidy classrooms, hallways, toilets -class size (according to some authors) -quickly implemented* and highly visible** strategies *apply **seeable

  9. TEACHER EXPECTATIONS Do you really think teacher expectations affects pupil’s achievement?

  10. HOW TO AVOID NEGATIVE EXPECTATIONS OF PUPILS Witting* of their own (unwanted) biases will help to teacher to get rid of negative expectations. There are a number of things teachers can do to help overcome this problem. -remember that all pupils can learn and communicate -make sure all pupils get the chance to answer questions and contribute to discussions -teacher should try to use objective criteria when marking pupils’ work *being aware

  11. IT IS TIME TO CHECK • If teacher gives to every student chance to answer questions , this behavior can be beneficial for them or not? Why? • Teacher should call the learners different according to pupil’s ethnic groups. Is it true, or not? Why? • What’s role of punishment or rewards pupil’s motivation?
