TREKKING TOWARDS BHRIGU LAKE It can be reached by trekking either from the Vashishth temple, which is famous for its hot water springs, which is close to the town of Manali or from Gulaba village.Bhrigu Lake is just 14 km away from the road-head of Gulaba. It is located to the east of Rohtang Pass. One can also stay at hotel by booking hotels online bookings. The lake is named after the famous saint Bhrigu – one of the Saptarshis known as the father of vedic astrology. Bhrigu is said to have meditated next to the lake as he wrote Bhrigu Samhita. Rola Kholi is a scenic grazing ground used by local shepherds. Located at the base of Bhrigu Lake, it makes for an ideal camping spot. You water source here is Chor Nallah, which flows across the camping ground.The nature was beautiful. The trek path were quite challenging though. However, the sight was worth the pain taken to trek. The serene atmosphere at this lake attracts the tourists.
