FIMS Population Queries • Background • Population queries were originally introduced to FIMS in FY2002 as part of an initiative to fully populate the data in FIMS by the end of FY2002 • In FY2005, population queries were developed to verify that the data elements being reported to the Federal Real Property Profile (FRPP) were likewise fully populated

FIMS Population Queries • What are the Population Queries? • Reports that calculate the percentage of population for a specific FIMS data field, such as Usage Code • A second report, titled the Exception Rpt, can be generated for a site to identify the individual FIMS records by Property ID that are missing data for a specific data field
FIMS Population Queries • What do they look like? • Every one should be very familiar with the Deferred Maintenance population report that is sent out as the deadline approaches for the fiscal year end reporting requirement • This report is sent out daily as the deadline approaches
