  3. NHS Requirements • Sami went over last meeting….please refer to NHS Handbook or contact board with questions • Attend 80% of the meetings • If you cannot attend a meeting, please email nhswoodbury@gmail.com

  4. Hours Deadline: • 10 hours for trimesters one and two, then all 40 hours due trimester three

  5. Communication • Reminders will be sent through Facebook and email about meetings and events • If you haven’t received an email/post about today’s meeting please speak with me after the meeting • Remind 101 • Text @msurhi to 218-297-3689 • Facebook group: friend Manu Achar

Elections • Overview of the positions • Junior Rep: represent your class and attend board meetings • Sophomore Rep: represent your class and attend board meetings • 5K (All positions for incoming juniors) • Overall: run the 5k, oversee the other chairs • Food and Publicity: in charge of publicizing the event, collecting food for the event • T-shirt and Prizes: ordering t shirts, deciding prizes

  8. Elections • Results will be posted today/tomorrow • NHS Bulletin Board, Email, Facebook • We will hold elections for Blood Drive, Tutoring, and the other events in September

  10. Volunteering Opportunities • Anna • Graduation

  11. T-Shirt Designs • Open to all NHS members • Emailed to nhswoodbury@gmail.com by June 20th • Voting on color and design will be open to all members

  12. Summer • Volunteering Opportunities will be sent by email/ posted on Facebook • 5K updates and spread the word though social media • Ice Cream Social Thursday, August 14th from 1-3pm • Attendance mandatory (please email us if you can’t come) • Going over important 5K information
