Vaccination Resources • ACIP schedule and VPD information www.cdc.gov/vaccines, other sites including www.healthypeople.gov, www.vaccines.gov. • UADCVD can use this wealth of information to help educate fund members, with goal of raising immunization rates and reducing incidence and cost of VPDs.
Trust for America’s Health – Vaccination is Top 10 Priority • Increase Childhood and Adult Vaccinations. • Vaccines are responsible for the control of many infectious diseases. Public health professionals and health care providers should utilize the new vaccine-coverage provisions in the Affordable Care Act and the development of electronic health records to ensure everyone receives vaccines on time, at no cost.
