  2. What is Finding Kind? • Finding Kind is a film that focuses on the relationships among young adolescent and teen girls. • Yet, this film is not just about girls. It is also about how we all – girls and boys – treat one another. It is about choosing kindness over mean behavior. • A preview…

  3. After watching the preview… • Please get up and find a partner or two to respond to the following questions: • Did you connect to any element of the video preview you just watched? If so, to what did you connect? • Do you believe there is a concern with regard to how girls treat one another? If so, why do you think this concern exists? • How can young adolescents and teens show more kindness toward one another? • Would your friend or family member like to watch this entire movie? Why do you think the film looks interesting?

  4. Discussion… Please feel free to share some of the thoughts you discussed with the class. Please maintain a respectful response when your peers share their ideas. This is part of being kind.

  5. Let’s go to the movies… Scullen is pleased to announce a viewing of this film. We are working together with Crone Middle School for this film screening. • Please join us on Thursday, September 20th, at 6:30 P.M. in the Scullen Gym. • Please feel free to bring a blanket and pillow, so you can get comfortable and watch the movie. • Please bring your family and friends to this event. Please mark this date in your calendars and plan ahead for the special event.
