Who we are • The Campaign for Science & Engineering (CaSE) is a policy advocate for science and engineering in the UK. • The strength of our policy advocacy is due to our political networks, independent analysis, broad membership, and responsiveness. www.sciencecampaign.org.uk
Election Activities • Working with other STEM organisations to have a co-ordinated approach to pre-election activities • Policies for the next Government • Political commitments www.sciencecampaign.org.uk
Coordination & collaboration • STEM organisations and allies needs to work together to have the maximum impact on politicians • Ideally, agree to the same high level policy “asks” • CaSE is convening a meeting on the 7th July for groups to discuss their plans for the election www.sciencecampaign.org.uk

Political Commitments • Get political commitment to science and engineering prior to the election: • Meet with politicians: Work with Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrats to help them develop their policies and priorities • Debate: Get spokespeople to debate science and engineering issues in the run up to the election • Party responses: Ask parties what their policies on key areas are in advance of the election and circulate responses to members, media and others www.sciencecampaign.org.uk
