Pathogenesis • Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) I type &II type • isolated from blood, serum, genital secretions, breast milk, cerebrospinal fluid, urine, saliva and lacrimal fluid. • Main infection routes • Sexual activity • Blood infection(blood products transfusion, sharing of needles for drugs, needle stick accidents) • Mother-to-child infection
Cutaneous manifestations of AIDS - three categories • Infection • Tumor • Non-infectious severe,atypical,bigotry
Infection: 1. Oral hairy leukoplakia (OHL): 20% Early specific sign EBV correlating Candida (+)
