  2. Inaugural statements: • Willkommen! • You all know me (I think) • We have much to do; but, before we get started, help yourselves to food and drink!

  3. The Double-Secret Award Ceremony • Now is the time when I recognize comrades of old who are also comrades of now! • Thank you for being in Deutschklub! Ihrseid die Besten!

  4. My agenda: • I have several goals involving the German Club (and classes( at Westabor. • I’ll show you them first, then you can add any ideas you might have.

  5. Oktoberfest! • It’s coming up on the 27th! • I’m going for sure • We don’t have to go as a group, but if you’d like, we can meet someplace and car-pool it there • Let’s check out their link: • http://triadgermanclub.com/oktoberfest.html

  6. German-American Day! • What could we do to celebrate?

  7. Challenges! • I thought we could contact the other foreign language clubs and see if they’d like to get together for a few friendly competitions: • Jeopardy! • Eggspert • Whatever else we can think of

  8. A Krampus party! • Sound interesting?

  9. School visits • We need to increase enrollment in German classes! • The best way to do this is to visit the middle schools that feed into this one and talk to them • I’m tired of finishing behind the dead language!

  10. German Day • I’d like to spend at least one meeting preparing for German Day • German 2s- I don’t want y’all signing up for Art-related projects this year • I could invite some German speakers to work with us

  11. The trip (?) • I have been given some possibly most enriching information for y’all. • It concerns a trip to Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein (!!!) • Packets? • http://www.eftours.com/educational-tour/austria-germany-switzerland

  12. Essen! • I want us to go to a real German restaurant to eat.
