  3. You need to: • Come 10 minutes before your turn • Wear school uniform! • Bring your ID card … and • Bring your project! • Make sure it looks nice. Correct all the mistakes!

  4. The Oral Bagrut exam 10 minutes: • Personal interview: 3-4 minutes • Presentation of project + questionsabout your project: 6-7 minutes Rules to remember: • Be polite • Sit up straight • No chewing gum! No phone!

  7. 2. The project • 6-7 minutes. 60% of the grade • Explain your project: ……… 3 minutes • Introduction • About the chapters • Conclusion • Answer questions: ………… 3 minutes • You must also know about chapters that somebody else in the group wrote.

  9. Make sure your project has: • A cover page (שער) • A table of contents • Introduction • Chapters • Conclusion • Glossary • Bibliography • Booklets of all the group

  10. Questions about your song Some examples: • What is the rhyme scheme? AA? BB? • Are there any metaphors? Similes? • Give examples of colorful words in the song. • What is the meaning of the song? • What is the story behind the song? • Where did the singer first perform it?

Questions about your project Some examples: • Why did you or your group choose this topic? • What new skills did you learn from doing the project? • How did you present your project to your classmates? • What was the most difficult part about doing this project?  • What was the purpose of the booklet? How did it help you?

  12. Your grade The tester listens to you and gives you a grade for: • Accuracy (דיוק בשפה) ………………50% • דקדוק, אוצר מילים, היגוי נכון • Fluency (שטף דיבור) ……………….. 50% • הבנת השאלות, דיבור ללא היסוס, תשובות של משפט שלם או יותר
