  2. Evidence • Mars show signs of water coming to the surface. The image taken by Mars Global Surveyor spacecraft, has evidence that there are springs on the surface.

  3. Evidence • This picture taken also by the Mars Global Surveyor, shows examples of gullies formed by seepage and runoff of liquid water.

  4. Evidence: Layering • This picture shows a deep side canyon which is creating a large landslide because of the steep walls. The box at the upper left shows the landslide location. So Mars has layers.
