  4. Hablar- to talk

  5. Comprar- to buy

  6. llevar- to wear

  7. -car, -gar, -zar verbs • These verbs are special- check to see if a verb ends with either –car, -gar, or –zar… if it does, then your YO form in the past tense will have a spelling change! Why? Because if we didn’t change the spelling, the sound would be different.

  8. llegar- to arrive

  9. entregar- to turn in

  10. practicar- to practice

  11. buscar- to look for

  12. almorzar- to eat lunch

  15. escribir- to write

  16. salir- to leave
