  3. Regularity: MI found 97.99% primary schools and all the UPS are providing cooked MDM. There are 80.93% children of primary and 89.43% students of UPS availed the MDM on the day of the visit. The poor attendance is due to the final evaluation (Nadia) MI found 95.80% Primary and 21.88% UPS are providing the MDM. The 5 (five) sample primary schools are not providing the MDM at time visit.69.71% children of Primary School are present in the school on the day of visit ,out of 53.60% have availed MDM, and in UPS 67.20% students are present out of 86.31% availed the MDM. (South 24 Parganas)

  4. Delivering cooking cost: MI found that 60.96% sample primary schools and 66.67% UPS received the cooking cost in advance (Nadia) MI found that 64.04% sample primary schools and 7 UPS Providing MDM and receiving the cooking cost in advance. (South 24 Parganas)

  5. Infrastructure.There are 41.78% primary schools and 61.11% UPS have pacca kitchen shed. All the sample schools have provision of potable water for cooking and drinking. Fire wood is common fuel used for MDM 128 (87.67%), (Nadia)There are 71.43% primary schools and 57.14% UPS have pacca kitchen shed.All the sample schools have provision of potable water for cooking and drinking.   6. Inspection and supervision.MI found that the supervision of MDM program from out side the community is very poor. 78.08% for primary and 83.33% from UPS reported about no such supervision (Nadia)

  7. Impact.The overwhelming majority of the sample schools reported positively about the MDM. The positive responses from the schools in the context of improvement of attendance is 130(89.04%) from the primaryschools and in the UPS are 15(83.33%). (Nadia) and 76.32% primary and 42.86% UPS respectively (South 24 Parganas)
