  2. February 2007 – Land grabbing operation by Builder Mafia at Mithi River • Lacs of sq. ft. Mithi River’s land being grabbed by building mafia at Bandra-Kurla Complex. Huge portion of Mithi River is being filled with the help of hundreds of tons of debris dumping between BKC Bridge and CST Bridge (western bank). This was/is going on under the nose of MMRDA-Slum Rehabilitation Authority. Dr. Kirit Somaiya, BJP leader & Ex-MP demanded immediate inquiry & action. • The river was widened, thousands of tons of debris, silt were removed at this spot, in the Phase I of Mithi Rejuvenation work. • Now again ielegal refilling/reclaiming & Land-Ghotala of Lacs of Sq feet of FSI

  3. Section - I • Land Grabbing Scam between BKC Bridge to CST Bridge • River was widened in Phase I • Private contractors illegally reclaiming same land–Jan 07 • Claiming this artificial land for SRA
