  3. Our task • Given “raw” materials create a movie as a class project • 4 lego characters from Star Wars play sets • Laptop computer • Creative WebCam Go • MGI Videowave software • Available lighting • No script • No storyboard

  5. What did we do? • Quickly develop storyboard and script • Shoot 1.2 GB of raw video • Editing – approximately 10 hours • Finding music and sounds • Editing video • Inserting sound and effects and transitions • Upload to Instructor’s site

  6. What’s next? • Sent URL to Jack Klag • Present to rest of faculty • Submit to ifilm, atom films • Pray we don’t get sued

  7. MGI Videowave • $99 + tax at CompUSA • Local • Relatively inexpensive • Works with my existing equipment
