  1. Asteroids Asteroids are rocky object that orbits the sun. Most asteroids are found orbiting the sun in a series of rings. They separate the inner planets from the extra terrestrial planets. It orbits the sun because of the asteroid belt.

  2. Comets A ball of ice and dust that orbits the sun. A famous comet is Halley’s comet. To see a comet again it will be 3 to 500,000 years. A comet goes through Neptune and Pluto's orbit.

  3. Neptune Neptune is huge, Neptune's atmosphere gives the planet its color “blue”. Neptune is about 3 billion miles from the sun that’s 30 times the distance between the earth and the sun. Neptune is 2.8 billion miles away from the sun. One year on Neptune is 165 earth years.
