Protestant relies on the OT of Hebrew as the canon - 37 books and NT of Athanasius (367 AD) – 27 books. Except Ethiopian canon included 34 books.

Có ba thể loại A-lét-xan-dri-a, Tây-phương, & Bờ-zan-tai.Note: Extrinsic  No books dated after 4th century or after the book of Malachi allowing to add into the OT. The NT does not have original text. There are more than 5000 Greek texts. Three types of Greek texts: Alexandria, Western, and Byzantine.

Shorter reading is to be preferred to a longer reading. 2. the reading difference from its parallel is to be preferred. 3. a difficult reading is to be preferred to an easy on. 4. the reading that best explains the origin of the others is most likely the original.

Note:Earliest Christian list of Old Testament books that exists today is by Melito, bishop of Sardis, writing about 170 A.D, and bishop Athanasius for New Testament 367 A.D.
