The pitch proposal is a meeting between a film producer and a potential film-maker. • The objective of the film-maker is to get approval for funding to produce their product (greenlighting). • It is important to ‘WOW’ the producer with your idea, as they probably listen to 100s per week. • Being prepared beforehand is essential, as the producer may have questions that require answering. Pitch Proposal Presentation
The other six elements of your preproduction work inform your pitch proposal. • You will compile your preproduction work into a booklet for the producer. • It is important that information is easy to understand and quick to access, as the producer see a lot of these things. • You will also need 2 storyboard stills in either electronic form (for the projector) or blown up to A3 size. • The ‘pitch’ itself will take 5-6 minutes, in which you will sell your potential product. • Due Date TBA Pitch Proposal Presentation contd.
