Achieving Oneness of Spirit • Appreciate each other Genesis 2:18-25 • Appreciate yourself as God made you Ephesians 5:21-33; Philippians 4:11 • Make priority clear v.24leave and cleave • Unselfishness is the foundation Eph. 5:25-27 • leave father & mother; cleave to wife • Be transparentv.25 • Self-consciousness builds walls & defensiveness 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 • Our hearts are to be open 2 Cor. 6:11-13

Obstacles to Oneness of Spirit • A strong defense • Shame, guilt, fear, deflection Gen. 3:7-10 • A strong offense Gen. 3:11,17 • Attacking others, blaming others 2 Sam. 6:12-23 • David was excited to bring the ark to Jerusalem • Immodest combination of dance and clothing v.14 • Worshiped with gladnessv.17-18 • Was generousv.19 • Came to bless his house v.20 in a great mood
