Write your name: on EACH of the three sides, on the front cover, and inside the back cover of your notebook. # Your notebook from 1-25 (Beginning with the front page and numbering both front AND back of each page.) Be sure to place the #’s on the outside bottom corner of each page. Cut out and glue the Rating Scale on the inside front cover of your notebook. ISN Set-up
4. Write the following centered on the 1st page: • Your name • Class Period • English 2 • Ms. Ngom • 5. Title pgs 2-5 “Table of Contents” • 6. Draw a line following the faint red line along the far right side of TOC page. ISN Set-up
7. Write “Page #’s” at the top of those thin columns. 8. Cut out the Proofreading Marks BLUE paper and then glue on the page 7. Title page 7 “Proofreading Marks” Write “Rap 3” and 8-23 at the top of pg 6 (you will use it tomorrow) Write WIO about halfway down on pg 6 (use tomorrow) ISN Set-up

Turn to page 3 in the textbook. Copy the “Big Question Vocabulary” into these boxes. Unit 1 Big Question Vocabulary
Cut along the highlighted lines. You will end up with 2 long rectangles. GLUE the foldable along the long title section. AFTER you have glued the strip down, you may continue to define each of the words on the back of the tabs and draw a picture underneath the tabs. Unit 1 Big Question Vocabulary
Don’t forget to cut the tabs apart when you are finished defining each word AND drawing a picture that represents each word! Unit 1 Big Question Vocabulary
