  3. These monuments are located in Greece, northen Africa and minor Asia. Their date of construction varies from 2800 BC for the Pyramid of Giza to 280 BC for the Lighthouse of Alexandria.

  5. Hanging Gardens of Babylon • Built by the Chaldeans around 600 BC and were destroyed after the first century BC by multiple earthquakes

  6. Temple of Artemis at Ephesus • Built circa 550 BC by the Lydians and the Greeks and was destroyed in 356 BC • Located in Turkey

  7. Statue of Zeus at Olympia • Located in Olympia, Greece • Built in 435 BC and destroyed in 5th–6th centuries AD by Fire

  8. Mausoleum of Halicarnassus • Located in Bodrum, Turkey • The original structure was destroyed by flood in AD 1494

  9. Colossus of Rhodes • Located in Rhodes Greece • Destroyed by an earthquake in 226 BC

  10. Lighthouse of Alexandria • Located in Alexandria, Egypt • Destroyed in AD 1303–1480 by an Earthquake
