Company Process It’s rare to find two companies that have the exact same process. Maps can be modified/updated to show your company’s actual process. This may be useful during Audits, etc. 3. Reduce Training Time for New Users New users can follow a process map which will take them to the actual QAD screen to do the work, instead of needing to learn how to navigate the menu to find what they are looking for Process Maps 101 – Why use them? Examples

  17. 1. Process Folder – Defined on Menu A.8.40 / 0.40 By default: 40.1 – urn:pmap:1_VIP_SF 40.2 – urn:pmap:1_SCP_SF 40.3 – urn:pmap:1_OPV_SF Set up security similar to any other menu. Normally this is left to “*” so that all users may see the processes Process Maps 101 – Security
