What IS a QR Code? • A QR Code, short for Quick Response Code, is a type of two-dimensional barcode that can be read easily by mobile phones. • Originally used in Japan by the car industry. • Used to embed a URL into a code that can be scanned with a smart device.
Target audience • The target audience for this training module is librarians. Librarians could create trainings or videos for their patrons for general use. While the target audience is librarians QR codes can be tailored to meet the needs of other audiences allowing for versatility.
