Effect on the Economy • Initially Germany pulls out of the depression before any other Western country, by 1938 there is actually a shortage of workers. • Between 1932 and 1938 the standard of living for Germans increased (while the rest of Europe and the US remained mired in the Great Depression) • By the end of the war, Germany will be in ruins.
