Students should include key elements like the logo, slogan, interior and exterior views of the restaurant, menu items, promotions/challenges, and social media mentions. They will reflect on their progress and consider ways to enhance their video to capture customers' attention effectively.

Do Now • Describe what you see in advertisements for restaurants such as Applebees and TGI Fridays. • What kind of atmosphere are they trying to create? • Do you think they succeed in giving the customers what they want? Explain.
Directions • EACH student will create a promotional video and will be responsible for their own work • The theme will be to promote a “GRAND OPENING” for the restaurant • Incorporate music, sounds, transitions, animations • Utilize a sports celebrity as an endorser • Make sure to include a “call to action”
What should be included? • Logo • Slogan • Exterior View of restaurant with sign • Interior View w/ customers enjoying meal • Selected menu items w/ pictures • Promotion/Challenge • Celebrity Endorsement • “Call to Action” website/facebook/twitter • Mention of Restaurant at least THREE times • Animation/transitions/appropriate music
